I have expressed my curious appreciation of chairs before. When traveling in Greece the summer of 2015, I came across this view. When I see this beauty, I can’t help but think of all the people that have enjoyed this view before. Chairs capture the presence of people without having any in the scene. It’s a scale item to use in a photo that we all know of and most of the time take for granted. It gives a human element, a familiarity, to the shot that a simple landscape couldn’t capture by itself.
See if you can find something that you like that speaks to you and try to capture that in a meaningful way.
Happy snapping 🙂
