“We see the beauty of the world though light.”
That thought came over me as I was looking at this photo. Clearly I did something right if that was the response that I gave myself. This lovely silhouette was captured at Emerald Bay in Lake Tahoe. I have no idea who those two are, but I was in just the right spot at the right time.
Actually, I wish I had moved my feet a little bit before taking this. I ended up cropping this image to a 1:1 aspect ratio because the right side had a whole bunch of weeds sticking out that really ruined the mood set by the colors and strong silhouette of the trees and people. In the end it wasn’t a ruined shot do to the “crop factor” of the shot.
Next time I need to remember to 1: move my feet a little bit more and 2: to slow down and make sure I am getting the shot I want. Live and learn.
